Level 2 Support Technician, IP & LTE Networks

I am searching for a Level 2 Support Technician to deliver excellent service levels to for my client's lead customer in NYC, in the area of IP/LTE broadband and RF networks.
This is one of several new positions created as a result of the successful growth of my client, who are leaders in mission critical telecom systems.
Solving reported incidents
Maintain, modify, service and upgrade radio and telecom systems
Visiting customer sites when remote problem solving is not possible.
Carry out system configurations, technical verifications and visual inspections
Update related databases and keep track of changes
Update hardware, software and firmware
Regular communication with the customer to understand their technical questions
Provide workarounds and gain buy-in from customer
Provide technical reports and analysis for Level 3 team
This position will require you to work on a shift rotation 24/7 and you'll form part of a multi-disciplinary technical team, managed by the Support & Maintenance Director.
Support experience in the areas of fixed line and mobile telecom/radio; data networking, telephony (TCP/IP, Ethernet, VoIP, etc.).
Good team player with excellent problem solving and communication skills, who puts the customer first.
Work well under pressure with good abilities to prioritise and get the job done efficiently.
Ideally hold a degree or relevant qualification in telecoms, networking or similar.
We are interested in considering candidates with either a couple of years post graduate experience, or those with more technical support experience. Salary is subject to relevant experience. Training can be given to candidates who are strong in IP Networking, but need help with RF, for example.
