You will develop visualisation-rich data-driven Front End web applications. You will use your skills and experience to advise on the application architecture, work on performance optimisation and will be required to share your feedback and enforce good practices in the area of user experience. You will also actively participate and advocate for the development of an internal Front End library providing building blogs for internal applications and prototypes.
Your technical skills allow you to build prototypes quickly in order to support business development while understanding the quality required to build productive applications and provide high-quality, maintainable and testable code. You can provide technical leadership and mentoring to other software developers.
You have interests in UX/UI and are able to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to identify requirements, provide basic wireframes and UI concepts. In this capacity you help shaping the final UI and Front End architecture. You feel comfortable presenting your ideas and decisions to a broader audience consisting of experienced developers and knowledgeable business managers.
To be a successful candidate, you must fulfil the following requirements:
University degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Applied Sciences, or have a proven track of experience developing corporate Front End applications
At least 3 years working experience in development on larger web applications representing and visualising big amount of data and analytics Experience in representation and visualization of data and analytics in web applications
Solid understanding of modern web development concepts, interest in the latest trends and technologies, communications with Back End on various protocols (REST, WS, GraphQL, etc.)
Passion for User Interface and User Experience, basic knowledge of user centric design rules
Know-how to set up development, testing and production environments
Solid understanding of software development product life cycle (JS testing, CI etc.), practices and tools
Experience in development for mobile platforms and ability to provide UX assets is a plus
Effective project management and time management skills
Language skills: English (professional proficiency) and German is a plus
