Problem Manager (IT Service Management)

Responsible for the day to day delivery of Problem Management Process to both the business and its clients, the primary objective is to minimise business impact caused by IT Incidents and their underlying root causes (Problems) and prevent a re-occurrence by owning, managing and improving the delivery of Problem Management delivered to internal and external customers to agreed SLAs and KPIs

The Problem Manager will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree level education or equivalent and ITIL v3 Foundation qualified
  • Proven experience in a Problem Management position
  • Significant experience in the ICT, ideally gained within Financial Services sector
  • Experience of working with Incident, Problem and Change Management processes

Any of the following would also be a bonus:

  • Experience in an ITIL Service Management environment
  • Specialist Problem Management qualification
  • Experience in a Technical Support role utilising Problem Management
  • The ability to manage and co-ordinate complex environments with multiple parties
  • Experience of delivering services in a managed services or outsourcing environment

Reward

In you will receive a salary of up to £40,000 plus a profit related bonus scheme, 24 days annual leave and life assurance of four times your salary. On completion of the probationary period you can join the group pension plan and obtain up to a 6% match contribution into your pension plan.
