For our client in Basel we are looking for Supply Chain Manager for a 6 months project.
Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Duration: 03/02/2020 to 31/07/2020
Responsible for developing the "Supply Plan" for the tactical horizon (3/4 to 24-36 months) ensuring the adequate balancing between supply and demand in line with the expected service level and inventory at the next point of the supply chain for External Supply Operations (ESO) Chemical Operations & AI.
Purpose of the position:
. Establish one common Demand Plan for the entire product portfolio in collaboration with the relevant functions in the Platform and Global Supply Chain for the tactical horizon from 3/4 to 24-36 months
. Support and collaborate with SRTs and TP/Region SC Head to establish optimal Supply Plan and monitor deviations versus budget for the tactical horizon from 3/4 to 24-36 months including:
a) Supply volumes/based on demand
b) Operational cost, supply performance and Inventory projection at platform/region and at external suppliers (toll manufacturing, de-coupling points)
. Collaborate with SRTs the to get accurate overview of capacity and resources for the assigned External Suppliers in order to highlight early warning signals in terms of unbalanced supply vs demand (ie Supplier S&Op)
. Responsible for driving the execution of write-off process in collaboration with ESO Chemical Operations & AI key players
. Optimize key supply chain processes according to the NOSSCE standards for the assigned ESO Chemical Operations & AI (ie Demand Control and Demand Review, Supply Review, IBP, transportation/material flow,..) and relevant parameters (ie lead times, MOQ, product segmentation, order frequencies,..) in order to increase the processes effectiveness and compliance to the defined standards.
. Support the ESO Chemical Operations & AI SC Head for effective deployment into TP/Region of supply chain processes (ESO NTO/Global SC) including innovative planning models and generates analysis to support improvement of the planning and execution reliability for the ESO Chemical Operations & AI.
. Promote, monitor and eventually lead actions plans to achieve supply, customer services level (ie OTIF, stock outs) and inventory
. Responsible for the coordination of bottleneck management to avoid or minimize stock out risks for markets and patients creating scenarios in collaboration with Global Functions
. Support implementation of Supply Chain Processes improvement initiatives with new suppliers in collaboration with SRTs.
. Supports supply risk management process within platform/region responding to ad hoc re-quests for analysis or information regarding supply chain risks and opportunities.
. Support the SRTs to implement and execute the External Supplier S&OP according the defined standards.
- Education: Medium to high education in a technical, economics or scientific degree that contains supply chain management, logistics and/or planning including an APICS CPIM or APICS CSCP certification
- Languages: Good command of English and German written and spoken
. 3-5 years planning experience in an industrial operations environment.
. Experience working in a GMP environment.
. Knowledge of pharmaceutical operations principles and supply chain practices.
. Supply Chain Principles - extensive knowledge and under-standing of Materials Management principles such as (but not limited to) MPS, MRP, CRP, DRP, SFC, purchasing, distribution, import/export, transportation, etc.
. Pharmaceutical Production - knowledge of pharmaceutical operations and industry practices, preferred
. Pharmaceutical GMP's - strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
. Commercial negotiations skills
