•Work with organisations to provide them with the most environmentally appropriate energy solutions.

•Provide professional assistance on existing energy systems, how those could better be managed to reduce thermal energy use and carbon emission levels.

•Carry out research across the thermal energy sector to determine the future of low carbon energy systems.

•Support with the collection, collation and sanitizing of existing thermal energy consumption, performance and operational data.

•Assist with analysis of data and provide outputs such as benchmarking, load profile review, and regression.

•Support with non-intrusive site audits to identify measures for savings such as lighting, HVAC, metering, fabric, central plant, infrastructure and renewables.

•Calculate potential savings, cost, and financial analysis for various measures using proprietary or bespoke software, modelling tools and specialist information.

•Produce narratives on each of the measures above, including graphs, diagrams and photographs for insertion into the project deliverable as required by the engineers.

•Support and/or lead technology R&D initiatives in the area of thermal energy.

•Support the development of engineering solutions from design to construction.

•Design, specify, install, data logging equipment on client sites for the purpose of collecting the specific data required for analysis.

•Act as interface between the company and all relevant regulatory bodies (such as Ofgem) to understand, secure and maintain financial incentives to support the business.

•Communicate scientific and technical information to relevant audiences' including public relations and sales / marketing activities to support the company development.


•Minimum 1-year experience in the thermal energy sector.

•A strong understanding of energy markets in the US and on a global level.

•Bachelor degree in Energy management, energy markets, or other energy related field.

•Experience with energy modelling tools to assess the thermal energy demand for new and existing buildings.

•Expert-level Excel user, strong SQL and other database skills.

•Experience with energy audits to identify measures for savings such as lighting, HVAC, metering, fabric, central plant, infrastructure and renewables.

•Ability to (independently) carry out research and produce reports based on findings

•Experience with heat pumps and building services integration techniques. Good knowledge of natural refrigerants.

•Must be confident in delivering and presenting to a wide range of audiences both in size and technical ability.
