D365 FO ERP Financial Systems Analyst

Join a fast-growing international business in their Swiss HQ, forming an integral part of their finance team as the inhouse D365 Subject-Matter-Expert. Having recently implemented the solution, the business is now seeking to expand the D365 solution and enhance functionality. The role will combine both business-as-usual activities in supporting the business users on change requests, as well as extensive work to optimize, enhance and develop the systems and processes based on the successful candidates recommendations.

This position will possibly suit an ex-Consultant seeking to move to the client side and build their expertise on the business side, while maintaining their technical expertise.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the business on all day to day issues with D365 from both a functional and technical perspective
  • Carry out business analysis on new requirements and identify improvements in the system and processes
  • Support the application roadmap through recommendations and proposals of new ideas
  • Configure and change the D365 systems as required
  • Create and maintain extensive documentation on best practice of systems and process
  • Support knowledge transfer through formal and informal training to the users and wider business
  • Work with external consultants on projects as the business lead and act as the business partner to challenge new requirements and project needs/timelines

Candidate Requirements:

  • University degree in IT or Business/Finance/Accounting
  • 3+ years of experience with Dynamics AX and at least one project/experience with D365 FO
  • Ideally a background in consulting with ERP implementation experience
  • Knowledge of best practices for localized standards in Accounting and Finance
  • Further systems integration experience is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills at every professional level
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to business challenges
