Spare parts manager

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Material Master data administrator/spare parts manager with responsibilities in technical identification. This role is a 4 months mission based in Geneva Canton. Start date is ASAP, at the latest 1st of March 2020.

Your role:

  • Implement and update the data base (SAP) for all the articles (wear, spare part & consumables) delivered by the Customer Service Center for our client's products in order to meet the customer demand in terms of availability
  • Create & maintain material assortment (phase-in, phase-out, double material, substitution, status, classification)
  • Support the Sales Companie's for parts technical identification and enquiries before sales orders
  • Keep close link with the technical support documentation department to provide pertinent data in the Knowledge Center parts documentation
  • Analyze modifications notes done by R&D, dispatch them to the others concerned teams and act consequently (ex parts creation, SAP update etc )

Your Skills:

  • Experience in machine tool industry, more particularly spare parts, wear parts and consumables
  • Experience in Customer Service Product to determine all parameters that govern the product life cycle
  • IT Skills: SAP MM and Microsoft office tool

Your profile:

  • Technical diploma, at ease with mechanics, electronics, machine tool industry
  • Strong Customer orientation and solution oriented
  • Practical, analytical and systematic approach on problem solving
  • Ability to run several tasks at the same time and to work under pressure
  • Good Communication skills
  • Very good command of English and good communication skills in French
