Trainee Management Accountant + CIMA Study Support

A highly reputable, dynamic manufacturing business based in Burnley currently seek a Trainee Management Accountant to join their talented Accounts department.

Duties & Responsibilities
As Trainee Management Accountant you will work as an assistant to the Finance Manager, contributing to the objectives of the department and supporting with month end duties. You will be responsible for processing expenses and petty cash statements, cashbook reconciliations and provide cover and support to Purchase Ledger.
Your duties will also include balance sheet reconciliation, P&L account analysis, Intrastat and EC sales reporting, calculating journals and assisting with month end financial information and analysis.
To be considered for this opportunity you will be currently studying or qualified to AAT level 4 or CIMA operational level. Due to the level of analysis involved in this role the successful candidate will be comfortable with advanced Microsoft excel functions, in particular VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables.
This role would suit an Accounts Assistant or Assistant Management Accountant looking for their next step in their career. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn new skills and committed to their ongoing professional development with the support of the Finance Manager as a dedicated mentor.
