Project Manager

Location: Warrington (Covering Projects Across the North West)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Package

Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established construction contractor delivering a range of industrial and commercial construction projects across the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Project Manager who enjoys taking projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Projects typically include industrial units, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, refurbishments, extensions and new build developments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple construction projects from inception through to completion.

Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring key milestones are achieved.

Monitor project budgets, costs and commercial performance.

Ensure all works comply with health & safety legislation and company procedures.

Liaise with clients, consultants, architects and design teams throughout each project.

Coordinate procurement of materials, plant and subcontractors.

Identify and manage project risks, resolving issues before they impact delivery.

Attend client meetings and provide regular progress reports.

Ensure projects are completed to programme, budget and quality expectations.

Oversee snagging, commissioning and final handover.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.

Strong background delivering industrial and commercial construction projects.

Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and project planning.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.

Commercial awareness with experience monitoring project costs.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Willingness to travel across the North West.

Desirable

Degree, HNC or HND in Construction Management or a related discipline.

SMSTS.

CSCS Black Card.

First Aid at Work.

Temporary Works knowledge.

Experience working under JCT contracts.
