Job Title: Education Compliance & Resource Assistant
Location: Hoop Recruitment, Cardiff (CF10 4GE)
Salary: £25k-26k per annum+ Benefits + Commission
Reporting to: Blair Driscoll (Director of Education)
Working pattern: Cardiff / Hybrid (3 days office & 2 days WFH)
Hours: 37.5 per week

Role Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated, organised, and detail-oriented individual to join our Education team in our Cardiff branch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication and organisational skills, and is passionate about delivering a high standard of service. As you develop within the role, there will be the opportunity to progress into a Recruitment Consultant position, taking on greater responsibility for business development, client management, and candidate placement.
This is a varied role where you'll support both our compliance and resourcing functions, playing a key part in helping us deliver an outstanding service to our schools and education professionals.
As one of the first points of contact for candidates, you'll be speaking with people over the phone, so a confident and friendly telephone manner is essential. From carrying out initial candidate conversations and supporting compliance checks to assisting with sourcing great talent for our Education team, no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Compliance Support Education
Uploading new candidates to Edun CRM
Calling candidates on a daily basis to chase up missing documentation
Identifying awaiting compliance documents such as DBS, References, & general candidate information
Verifying documents – DBS, Birth certificate, EWC letter, passport
Calling outside companies to chase references
Signing off files
2.Resource Support Education
Handling inbound and outbound calls with candidates and schools
Searching for candidates on job boards, LinkedIn, and internal databases
Screening CVs and shortlisting suitable applicants
Calling candidates to discuss roles and availability
Arranging interviews and coordinating schedules with schools
Posting job adverts
Maintaining candidate records and recruitment systems
Supporting recruiters with compliance checks and onboarding paperwork
A CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system is a piece of software that helps a business keep track of its customers, potential customers, and all the interactions they have with them. A simple way to think about it is: A CRM is like a digital address book, diary, to-do list, and filing cabinet all rolled into one.
Training & Support:
No previous experience of recruitment, or CRM systems is required. Full training and onboarding will be provided on all processes, systems, and compliance requirements relevant to this role.
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent phone manner
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage tasks methodically and meet deadlines.
Confident using computers and learning new systems.
A proactive and friendly approach to working with people
