Service Delivery Manager

Location: Central Swindon

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to lead the delivery, performance and continuous improvement of a maintenance contract supporting critical station information, communications and security systems across a rail environment covering the South West and West regions of the UK.

Based in Central Swindon, you will be responsible for managing operational service delivery, customer relationships, contract performance and a team of Field maintenance/Service Engineers. Acting as the primary customer interface, you will ensure service levels, compliance standards and operational objectives are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services.
Manage contract performance against SLAs, KPIs and quality standards.
Oversee fault response, incident management and service recovery activities.
Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
Manage maintenance teams, help-desk staff and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and industry standards.
Monitor asset performance, reporting and maintenance records.
Drive continuous improvement, innovation and asset life-cycle initiatives.
Attend customer meetings, contract reviews and operational site visits.About You

You will have:

Proven experience in Field Service Delivery, Maintenance Management or Technical engineering operations.
Knowledge of CCTV, Public Address, Customer Information Systems, Help Points or IP-based communications systems & M&E systems.
A strong track record of managing customer-facing maintenance or service contracts.
Experience leading operational teams and driving performance improvement.
Experience managing SLAs, KPIs and service performance reporting.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience working within a regulated operational environment.
Full UK Driving Licence.Desirable

PTS, COSS, or similar rail industry accreditation. (training provided)
IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
PRINCE2, APM or other project management qualification.
Experience with asset management and maintenance management systems.
Knowledge of ISO55001 asset management principles.What We're Looking For
