Maintenance Engineer
Location: Kilburn, North West London
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
About the Role
An integrated property investment company is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their in-house team at a prestigious residential development in Kilburn.
This is a client-direct position, offering the opportunity to work for the building owner rather than through a facilities management company. Based at a luxury development comprising 82 high-end apartments, you'll play a key role in ensuring the building is maintained to the highest standards while delivering an excellent service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the development.
Undertake general building fabric repairs and maintenance.
Complete basic plumbing repairs, including taps, toilets and pipework.
Carry out minor carpentry works, including doors, locks, handles and general repairs.
Perform painting and decorating as required.
Complete basic mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
Replace lamps, light fittings and other small electrical components.
Conduct routine inspections of plant rooms and communal areas.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and the property management team.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation. Requirements
Previous experience in residential, commercial, or facilities maintenance.
Strong all-round maintenance skills, including:
Basic plumbing
Carpentry
Painting & decorating
Basic mechanical and electrical maintenance
Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Able to work independently and manage a varied workload. What's on Offer?
