We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established, family-oriented client in Guildford, Surrey, for a skilled MOT Tester. Salary of £35,000 per annum, with realistic on target earnings up to £41,000
40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with no weekend or late shifts

Contributing to a safe, high-quality service environmentDuties as a MOT Tester:

Conduct comprehensive MOT inspections in line with current UK legislation
Accurately identify defects related to safety and emissions, including brakes, tyres, suspension, lighting, and exhaust systems
Document inspection findings thoroughly and communicate effectively with the service team and vehicle owners
Maintain calibration and proper functioning of testing equipment
Keep up-to-date with changes in MOT regulations and testing procedures
Support a safe and efficient workshop environment to uphold the dealership’s reputation
Assist with vehicle repairs or diagnostics when required, ensuring quality standards are metRequirements:

Proven experience as an MOT Tester with current certification
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid MOT Tester qualification
Demonstrable commitment to delivering high-quality service
