About the Opportunity
I'm currently recruiting for an organised and proactive Planner to join a busy, fast-paced team based in Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a scheduling and coordination role, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
As a Planner, you'll be responsible for coordinating a team of multi-skilled engineers and the wider supply chain, ensuring works are scheduled efficiently while maintaining high service standards and meeting operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage engineers' diaries to maximise productivity and operational efficiency.
Coordinate daily schedules, ensuring appointments and resources are allocated effectively.
Monitor and manage work in progress to ensure service level agreements and deadlines are met.
Produce regular performance reports and analyse operational data.
Liaise with customers, engineers, supervisors, and internal departments to provide updates and resolve scheduling queries.
Support site teams by ensuring work is planned and delivered efficiently.
Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and operational performance.
Handle customer enquiries professionally, providing excellent service at all times.
Ensure scheduling activities are carried out in line with health and safety requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Previous experience in a planning, scheduling or coordination role.
Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
A customer-focused approach with good commercial awareness.
Experience producing reports and managing work schedules.
A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
