Are you a Principal Process Engineer looking to play a key role in complex projects within the nuclear and highly regulated sectors?

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Process Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation delivering critical projects across the nuclear sector. This permanent position offers the chance to work on technically challenging programmes, contribute to major design activities, and support the development of engineering excellence within a collaborative team environment.

Principal Process Engineer, Senior Process Engineer, Lead Process Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Process Design Engineer, Nuclear Process Engineer, Senior Chemical Engineer, Process Engineering Lead, Engineering Consultant, Process Safety Engineer.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Produce high-quality process engineering deliverables, including technical reports, calculations, specifications, and engineering documentation.
Ensure engineering outputs are delivered in line with project requirements for safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance.
Support and mentor engineers within the team, helping to develop technical capability and share best practice.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engineering processes, tools, and project delivery.
Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, industry regulations, company procedures, and quality standards.You will have the following qualifications and experience
Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, ideally at BEng (Hons) or MEng (Hons) level.
Significant process engineering experience gained within the nuclear sector or another highly regulated industry, typically 10 years or more.
Chartered Engineer status through IChemE, or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience and competence.
Strong track record of producing and developing process engineering documentation while working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience supporting process engineering coordination activities, with previous involvement in decommissioning, Sellafield, or AWE projects being particularly advantageous.Get in touch now
