This stable and successful national organisation is recruiting for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to support major fleet customers around the NW London, Berkshire and Middlesex area. Working Monday to Friday, you'll receive a fully equipped company van, specialist refrigeration training, paid door-to-door travel and excellent long-term job security. The business is known for looking after its people and offers realistic earnings of £51-54k with optional overtime.
The role:
* Service, maintain and repair refrigerated light commercial vehicles.
* Work as a Mobile Vehicle Technician covering customer sites across your local area.
* Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and refrigeration-related faults.
* Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and repair work to high standards.
* Receive specialist training on transport refrigeration equipment where required.
* Monday to Friday early/day shifts with all travel time paid on a door-to-door basis.
The Mobile Vehicle Technician should:
* Be a qualified Vehicle Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician with strong mechanical skills.
* Have experience servicing, maintaining and repairing light commercial vehicles.
* Hold NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Ideally have experience of transport refrigeration systems, air conditioning, HVAC equipment or other refrigeration technology.
* F-Gas certification (City & Guilds 2079) would be advantageous but is not essential.

* Invest regularly in training and development, enabling a Mobile Vehicle Technician to gain specialist transport refrigeration skills and broaden their technical knowledge.
