At Hays Education, we are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-respected primary school in Blackpool to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 6 Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September.

Your new role
Full-time Year 6 class teaching position
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Supporting pupils in their SATs preparation and ensuring they reach their full potential
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school communityWhat you'll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs requirements
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A commitment to raising standards and pupil outcomes
Strong organisational and communication skills
A passionate and reflective approach to teachingWhat you'll get in return
