CNC Machinist – Milling and Turning Lathes

The Job
* Operate a range of machining tools including CNC machines to repair or manufacture components according to drawings and sample.
* Run and Operate Siemens CNC lathes and millers
* Produce high-quality precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for efficient production.
* Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections using measuring equipment.
* Interpret technical drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing instructions.
* Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
* Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools, including calibration and cleaning, to ensure optimal performance.
* Measure finished products using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance with specifications.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
About you
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner and/or CNC Miller.
* Ability to set and operate CNC machinery independently.
* Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and cutting practices.
