Immediate Start
£70k - £75k Annual
Full-Time
I'm recruiting for a Facilities Manager on behalf of a Food Manufacturing business based in London. Someone to take full ownership of the utilities, infrastructure and compliance that make a high-volume production facility actually function.

Steam. Refrigeration. Water treatment. HVAC. Electrical systems. Statutory compliance.

Not "support functions." The backbone of the operation.

If that's obvious to you, keep reading.

The Role

You'll lead the Site Services team. Full accountability for safe, compliant, efficient delivery of every utility and engineering service on site.

Real responsibility, not a watered-down title. You're the expert people come to — on critical systems, on contractors, on compliance, on planned maintenance, on energy efficiency, on making things better than they were yesterday.

You'll also be in the room for capital projects, business continuity planning, and the bigger conversations about site performance.

What's On Your Plate

* Boilers, Steam, HVAC, water treatment, gas, electrical — all of it

* Planned preventative maintenance that actually gets planned

* Compliance with the legislation and standards that matter

* Contractors and specialist providers, managed properly

* Energy reduction and continuous improvement, driven by you

* Budgets, maintenance spend, capital projects

* Investigations, root cause analysis, fixes that stick

* A team that gets better because you're leading it

What You'll Need

Background in food manufacturing, FMCG, processing, utilities, or another highly regulated industrial setting.

Plus:

* NEBOSH General Certificate

* Loller experience

* Experience with DAF

* Solid grip on statutory engineering compliance

* Track record managing utilities and critical infrastructure

* Working knowledge of pressure systems, legionella, ammonia, confined spaces

* Proven leadership in engineering or facilities operations

* The ability to hold your own with stakeholders at every level

If you can balance technical depth, compliance, people leadership and continuous improvement — and you want to do it somewhere fast-paced and high-stakes — this is worth a conversation
