We're Hiring: Accounts Payable Officer

At Anglian we’re committed to excellence in everything we do — and that starts with our people. We’re looking for a detail-driven and dependable Accounts Payable Officer to support our finance operations and ensure our supplier relationships run smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an integral part of our finance team, you’ll work closely with the Accounts Payable Lead to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Accounts Payable Lead with day-to-day operations
Processing supplier invoices with accurate coding and appropriate authorisation
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
Managing GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) and purchase order reconciliations
Assisting with payment runs and ensuring timely disbursements
Maintaining a well-organised and accessible invoice library
Following internal controls and guidelines to mitigate risk and prevent fraudulent or incorrect payments
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance support role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Good understanding of financial systems and invoice processing
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with GRNI and purchase order processes is a plus
