Senior SAP IS-U Integration Consultant
Senior SAP IS-U Integration Consultant/Technical Lead | Romania | Remote
We're currently supporting a major utilities client in Romania who is looking for an experienced Senior SAP IS-U Integration Consultant/Technical Lead to join their project immediately.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale SAP IS-U integration programme, leading technical integration activities across multiple workstreams.
Responsibilities- Design and define interface contracts, mappings and validation rules across SAP IS-U modules
- Design RFC/REST integrations with future S/4HANA and OData compatibility in mind
- Develop or enhance RFC-enabled Function Modules, BAPIs and ABAP wrappers
- Configure RFC destinations, technical users, authorisations and connectivity
- Support data migration, delta extraction, reconciliation and error handling
- Coordinate SAP transports across Development, Test and Production environments
- Troubleshoot SAP integration, authorisation and performance issues
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover and hypercare activities
- Produce technical documentation and operational procedures
Required Experience
- Strong SAP IS-U implementation or integration experience
- SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8
- ABAP development
- RFCs and BAPIs
- REST APIs and SAP Gateway/OData
- SAP Authorisations and Transport Management
- Experience with SAP PI/PO and IDocs is highly desirable
- Utilities industry experience (electricity, gas or water)
- Experience working with high-volume master and transactional data
- Strong English communication skills
