Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for an exciting opportunity in the heart of New Boultham, Lincoln? We are searching for two dedicated professionals to join our team on a temporary basis. With a competitive hourly rate of £31.20, this role offers the chance to showcase your skills while contributing to high-quality production!

Key Details:

  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Contract Length: 6 months (with the potential for extension)
  • Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in assembling, maintaining, and repairing gas turbine components and associated equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assembly and Installation: Fit and assemble mechanical systems and components, adhering to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Precision Fitting and Alignment: Utilise precision measuring equipment to ensure correct installation and alignment of components.
  • Quality and Safety: Conduct quality inspections, identify faults, and take corrective actions while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
  • Operational Tasks: Operate machinery, maintain equipment, and accurately record production and maintenance data.

What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: A background in mechanical fitting, mechanical assembly, or a related field. Familiarity with rotating equipment and gas turbines is a plus!
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation is essential.
  • Precision Skills: Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
  • Safety Commitment: A strong dedication to safety and adherence to safety procedures.
