OT Project Manager – 6-month contract – Manchester/remote
My Utility Customer is looking for an experienced OT Project Manager to join a major cyber resilience and operational technology programme. This is a hands-on role that combines project delivery expertise with strong knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) environments and cyber security frameworks.
Required Experience from the OT Project Manager:
Proven experience delivering projects within Operational Technology (OT) environments.
Experience delivering cyber security, resilience, infrastructure, or critical national infrastructure projects.
Strong project management background with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and resilience standards within regulated industries.
Experience within the Utilities industry would be highly advantageous
Excellent documentation skills, including the production of governance and project delivery artefacts.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working with risk management, compliance, and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities of the OT Project Manager:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of OT and cyber resilience projects across a complex operational environment.
Provide subject matter expertise on OT environments, cyber resilience, and security best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation, including project initiation documents, project plans, solution design documentation, risk registers, issue logs, and stakeholder communications.
Assist with the preparation and management of compliance evidence required for cyber assurance frameworks
Ensure all project artefacts comply with internal governance standards, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations.
Coordinate technical delivery activities between internal teams, suppliers, and third-party vendors.
Support business change initiatives, including process improvement, impact assessments, user engagement, training, and awareness activities.
