Are you a Structural Engineer looking for more than just another residential design role?
We're recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised engineering consultancy that's continuing to invest heavily in its Leeds office. With an exciting pipeline of regeneration, infrastructure and building projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that genuinely invests in its people.
You'll become part of a collaborative structural team working on technically challenging projects while enjoying clear progression, flexible working and access to one of the strongest technical networks in the industry.

The Projects
-You'll have the opportunity to work on a broad range of technically challenging developments, including:
-Major city centre regeneration schemes
-Commercial offices
-Healthcare facilities
-Education buildings
-High-rise residential developments
-Mixed-use developments
-Infrastructure and public sector projects
-No two projects are the same, giving you exposure to a wide variety of structural challenges.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
-Delivering structural designs from concept through to completion
-Producing calculations using steel, concrete, timber and masonry
-Managing your own projects and liaising directly with clients
-Mentoring Graduate and Intermediate Engineers
-Working closely with architects and multidisciplinary design teams
-Attending design and client meetings
-Supporting business development where appropriate
About You
We're interested in speaking with engineers who have:
-5+ years' structural engineering experience
-Experience designing buildings in the UK
-Strong knowledge of Eurocodes
-Experience using software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot or similar
-Excellent communication skills
-Progress towards Chartership (or already Chartered)
