Offline Powder Coater
Location: Garretts Green
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
About the Role
The Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Offline Powder Coater to join their manufacturing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business that prides itself on delivering high-quality finished products. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating and finishing a range of metal components to the highest standards within a dedicated offline powder coating facility.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare metal components for powder coating, including cleaning, masking and hanging parts.
Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment.
Operate curing ovens and monitor curing cycles to achieve the correct finish.
Inspect finished products for quality, coverage and defects.
Carry out colour changes and clean powder coating equipment as required.
Maintain powder coating booths, ovens and associated equipment.
Package finished products ready for dispatch.
Work to production schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
Support other production activities where required.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Essential:
Previous experience in powder coating within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Knowledge of powder coating processes and application techniques.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality finishes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational and time management skills.
A strong commitment to health and safety.
Physical fitness to carry out manual handling duties.
Desirable:
Experience with Gema, Nordson or Wagner powder coating equipment.
Knowledge of various powder types and curing specifications.
Experience working with fabricated steel or aluminium products.
