Role Summary:

As part of a strategic growth initiative, our Client is seeking a capable and proactive Senior HR Business Partner to strengthen its central HR functions. This key role is designed to support organisational scalability and enhance management capability across multiple operational sites. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of HR, the successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping HR practices aligned with the organisation's vision, ensuring effective employee relations, and leading initiatives that promote a resilient and engaged workforce.

Responsibilities:

Build strong, trusted partnerships with site management teams, providing expert HR guidance and support tailored to each location's needs.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including engagement with trade unions or employee representatives, ensuring compliance and prudent risk management.
Oversee and mentor a team of HR Business Partners, fostering professional development and ensuring consistent delivery of HR services.
Lead cross-organisational HR projects, from planning through to implementation, with a focus on employee engagement and organisational development.
Coach managers to confidently handle people management issues, promoting a proactive and collaborative approach.
Maintain oversight of HR policies and processes to ensure they remain scalable and adaptable to ongoing growth.
Provide onsite support across multiple sites, ensuring visibility and hands-on HR intervention where necessary.
Working Pattern & Locations:

This role involves regular travel to multiple sites within the Coventry area, with a core working week supported by hybrid flexible arrangements. The organisation encourages a balance between on-site management and remote engagement, supporting your ability to build trusted relationships across locations.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven track record in handling end-to-end employee relations cases, including complex and sensitive matters.
Experience working alongside trade unions or employee representatives, demonstrating negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
A developmental coaching style with a history of upskilling managers and leaders.
Confidence working across multiple sites, establishing strong relationships rapidly.
Proficiency with HR information systems and a systems-confident approach to data management.
Desirable Skills & Experience:

Experience leading or participating in organisation-wide HR projects.
Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation with a strategic mindset.
Exposure to a range of operational settings, environments, or industries would be advantageous but not essential.
