Excellent opportunity for a Technical Manager, Laboratory Manager, Engineering Operations Manager or Technical Services Manager looking to broaden your operational leadership experience whilst playing a key role in shaping the future of engineering education and research.

In this role you won't simply be managing laboratories you'll be leading a large multidisciplinary technical operation supporting world-class teaching and research. You'll oversee Technical Managers and Senior Technicians across a diverse range of engineering disciplines, helping shape operational strategy, improving technical services, leading major projects and working alongside senior academic stakeholders to support the future direction of the faculty. The ideal candidate will have experience managing technical services within Higher Education, research or a complex laboratory environment. Candidates from industrial R&D or technical environments will also be considered where they can demonstrate strong operational leadership and exposure to laboratory or research facilities.

The Role:

*Monday to Friday
*Flexible and ability to work from home

The Person:

*Experience managing technical services, laboratories or engineering operations.
*Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
*Knowledge of laboratory compliance, operational governance and health & safety.
*Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) within engineering, science or a related discipline.
