An exciting opportunity has become available for a Contract Systems Engineer to join a growing North East England-based rail technology business on an initial 6-month Outside IR35 contract. Working a 40 hour week with hybrid flexibility available, you will support the delivery of major overhead line monitoring tenders, helping to define technical solutions, develop bid strategies and produce winning technical proposals for rail infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Skills required for the Contract Systems Engineer - Rail, in the North East:

Proven Systems Engineering experience within a complex engineering environment
Experience supporting technical bids, tenders or proposal activities
Strong understanding of electronics, software or integrated systems
Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and technical solutions
Rail industry experience, ideally within infrastructure monitoring, signalling, telecoms or related systems

This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
