Procurement Manager

London | Hybrid Working

We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Procurement Manager into a strategic procurement team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced environment where procurement plays a key role in supporting business objectives. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, leading end-to-end sourcing activities, developing commercial strategies and delivering value across a diverse range of third-party spend.

This role would suit an experienced procurement professional who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, influencing commercial decisions and managing complex procurement projects within a regulated environment.

The Role

Reporting into the Procurement leadership team, you'll act as a trusted business partner, providing commercial advice and leading procurement activity from initial engagement through to contract award and supplier implementation.

Working across multiple business areas, you'll help shape sourcing strategies, negotiate commercial agreements and ensure procurement delivers value, mitigates risk and supports long-term organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing activities across a diverse portfolio of spend.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop effective procurement strategies.
  • Manage supplier selection, tender processes, commercial negotiations and contract awards.
  • Provide commercial guidance throughout the procurement life cycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve commercial value, reduce risk and enhance supplier performance.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement function.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You'll ideally have:

  • Significant experience within procurement, strategic sourcing or commercial contract management.
  • Experience gained within financial services or another regulated commercial environment.
  • A proven track record of delivering complex end-to-end procurement projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management experience.
  • The ability to balance commercial objectives with governance and risk.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of regulated procurement frameworks or procurement legislation would be beneficial but is not essential.

Why Apply?

  • Strategic procurement role with significant stakeholder exposure.
  • Broad and varied procurement portfolio.
  • Hybrid working in London.
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Genuine opportunity to influence commercial decision-making.
  • Excellent career development opportunities.
