Provide one-to-one and small-group intervention sessions.
Assist students with varying learning needs, including those with SEND where required.
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Promote students' confidence, independence and resilience.
Support the wider school community during breaktimes, enrichment activities and school events.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience working with young people in a school, college, youth work or tutoring environment (desirable but not essential).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, patient and proactive attitude.
The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A genuine passion for education and supporting young people's development.
A degree is desirable for graduates looking to pursue a career in teaching but is not essential.
