Location: Gravesend, Kent
Salary: £30K
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Travel: Travel to other office locations will be required when necessary. Some occasional out-of-hours work may also be required.

We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic and hands-on IT Support Technician to oversee and support the firm's IT function across multiple office locations.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership of tasks and is confident working independently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving the firm's IT infrastructure, supporting staff with day-to-day IT issues and ensuring systems remain secure, efficient and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
*
Maintain and support the firm's case management system, including Partner for Windows (Tikit).
*
Provide hands-on support for hardware, software and IT-related issues across the firm.
*
Manage user accounts, onboarding and IT setup for new starters.
*
Deliver Partner for Windows training and provide general IT guidance to staff.
*
Ensure the availability, integrity and performance of IT systems and networks.
*
Oversee regular system updates, backups and software licensing.
*
Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and implement proactive security measures.
*
Support GDPR compliance, cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
*
Manage third-party IT suppliers and software providers.
*
Lead IT projects, including upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvements.
*
Assist with the management and maintenance of the firm's websites.
*
Travel between office locations when required.
*
Carry out additional IT duties as reasonably required.
About You
The successful candidate will be practical, responsive and confident taking ownership of an organisation's IT function.
You will have:
*
Previous experience in an IT support, IT management or similar hands-on IT role.
*
Experience managing or taking ownership of an IT function.
*
Knowledge of Partner for Windows (Tikit) or other legal case management systems would be advantageous.
*
A strong understanding of Microsoft 365, networks, hardware, cloud systems and cybersecurity.
*
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong “can-do” approach.
*
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
*
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical users.
*
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
*
A reliable, hands-on approach with a willingness to continue learning and developing within the role.
