We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Assembler to join a busy and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous electrical assembly or panel wiring experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
As a Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels and sub-assemblies.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Using a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
Crimping, terminating, and connecting electrical components and cables.
Carrying out basic testing and quality checks on completed assemblies.
Assisting with soldering tasks where required (not essential).
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area.
Working to production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
The Candidate
Previous experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a similar manufacturing role.
Experience using hand tools and power tools confidently and safely.
Strong crimping and cable termination skills.
Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and wiring schematics.
Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
