Customer-focused administrator to join a fast-paced team. This company is an independent regulatory organisation based in Manchester city centre. You will be providing support to ensure excellent customer service in the management of enquires, complaints and correspondence.
Your new role
Draft enquiry closure letters accurately and to a high standard.
Ensure all work complies with data protection requirements, confidentiality standards and internal policies.
Liaise with internal and external parties to clarify and accurately communicate decision outcomes.
Identify cases suitable for follow-up actions.
Maintain and update electronic case management systems and records accurately and promptly.
Respond to telephone enquiries from members of the public, professional bodies and colleagues, escalating complex cases when required.
Arrange, facilitate and transcribe telephone conversations for complainants where reasonable adjustments are needed to access services.What you'll need to succeed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work within established policies, procedures and service standards.
Understanding of data protection, information security and the importance of confidentiality.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when processing information and updating records.
Ability to produce professional correspondence and documentation to a high standard.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
Professional, empathetic and resilient approach when handling sensitive or challenging situations.
Previous experience within a regulatory, complaints-handling or public sector environment.What you'll get in return
