Field Service Engineer

Our client, a well-established and expanding engineering business specialising in commercial refrigeration, cold rooms and industrial equipment, is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis covering the Bedfordshire area. The successful Field Service Engineer should have:

Previous experience servicing, maintaining or installing commercial refrigeration, cold rooms or similar equipment.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair work.
A professional approach with excellent customer service skills.
A willingness to learn new equipment and systems, with full training provided on refrigerated display cabinets and industrial doors.
In this role, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial refrigeration and cold room equipment across customer sites.
Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and attending breakdown call-outs.
Completing site inspections and ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
Producing accurate service reports while building strong relationships with customers.
Our client is offering the successful Field Service Engineer a salary of £33,250 - £35,350 per annum, depending on experience, based on a 40-hour working week. In addition, you'll receive 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, a company van, company pension, uniform and tools provided, ongoing training and development, genuine long-term career progression, and enhanced overtime rates to further increase your earnings.
