JRS Associates Ltd has partnered with a leading precision engineering manufacturer to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering business supplying high-integrity components to global industries, offering long-term job security, excellent earning potential and genuine career progression.

Working as part of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, electrical installations and supporting continuous improvement across a busy manufacturing facility.

The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Package

* £42,000 – £47,500 per annum

* Permanent position

* Rotating shift pattern

* Days: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

* Afternoons: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm

* Nights (introduced after training): Monday – Thursday, 8:45pm – 6:00am

* Overtime available

* 1.3x for the first 2 overtime hours

* 1.5x after 39.5 hours

* Long-term career progression

* Training and development

* Secure engineering environment

The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Role

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance

* Diagnose and repair electrical faults across manufacturing equipment

* Carry out electrical installation work when required

* Support plant reliability and minimise downtime

* Fault find using electrical drawings and control systems

* Work safely in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures

* Complete maintenance documentation accurately

* Support continuous improvement initiatives

* Liaise with production teams and external contractors where required

The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Requirements

* Recognised Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Apprenticeship (or equivalent)

* Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment

* Strong electrical fault-finding skills

* Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance

* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

* Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures

* Computer literate

* Able to work independently and as part of a team
