School Premises Officer - Full-Time, 5 Days per Week

Are you an experienced School Premises Officer looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming and well-maintained school environment?

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Premises Officer to join a lovely school in Lewisham on a full-time, 5-day-per-week basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, strong knowledge of school premises management, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe, secure and positive environment for pupils and staff.

A degree is preferred, alongside relevant practical experience and a strong understanding of premises, facilities and health & safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school premises
Ensure the site is safe, clean, secure and well presented
Carry out regular checks, inspections and basic maintenance
Coordinate repairs and liaise with contractors and external providers
Support compliance with health & safety, fire safety and statutory requirements
Manage site-related issues efficiently and proactively
