Maintenance Electrical Engineer
📍 Hull | 💰 £52,000 | ⏰ 4 On / 4 Off Shift Pattern (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off)
The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Electrical Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment in Hull.
Working within a 24/7 operation, you'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, carrying out fault finding, and supporting site reliability through planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime
Work on PLCs, drives, motors, inverters and control systems
Complete preventative maintenance activities
Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrade projects
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
About You
Previous electrical maintenance experience within manufacturing, industrial or engineering environments
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience working with PLCs, motors, drives and control systems
Good understanding of electrical schematics
Knowledge of safe isolation procedures and health & safety requirements
Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
Qualifications
City & Guilds Electrical Qualification or equivalent
17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
