I'm working with a leading global consultancy to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join its growing Defence team in Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the UK's most complex and high-profile defence and infrastructure programmes, delivering projects that make a real impact. You'll join a collaborative team working with major public sector clients, managing projects from inception through to completion.
The Role
Manage the delivery of defence and infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
Support clients with project planning, procurement, risk management and programme delivery.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Monitor project performance, reporting on progress, costs and risks.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Ensure projects comply with relevant industry standards and governance requirements.
About You
Experience delivering projects within the Defence sector or a closely related environment.
Background in project management within a consultancy, contractor or client-side organisation.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience managing budgets, programmes and project risks.
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
NEC experience
Working towards or holding a recognised project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or similar) is desirable.
Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance.
