Teamforce Labour is currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer for an immediate start on a major Civil Engineering and Infrastructure project in Rossendale, Lancashire, BB4.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Civil Engineering contractors, working on large-scale infrastructure schemes.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced engineering professional with a strong background in heavy civils, infrastructure and setting out, who can lead engineering activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out accurate setting out using GPS, Total Station and surveying equipment.
Establish, maintain and verify survey control across the project.
Complete as-built surveys and maintain accurate engineering records.
Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project drawings, specifications and design requirements.
Monitor and maintain quality assurance procedures, inspections and documentation.
Identify and resolve engineering issues, technical queries and design discrepancies.
Liaise with Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors and design teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
Mentor and support Site Engineers and junior engineering staff.
Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.
Assist with planning engineering activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within specification.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have:

Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
Valid CSCS Card.
Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer, or an experienced Site Engineer ready to progress into a senior role.
Extensive setting out experience on Civil Engineering, Infrastructure or Heavy Civils projects.
Experience delivering earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete structures, highways and utility works.
Competence using Leica, Trimble or equivalent surveying equipment.
Strong understanding of QA procedures, inspections and as-built documentation.
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently while supporting the wider site management team.
Full UK Driving Licence.
SMSTS is desirable but not essential.
