A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchasing Commodity Manager to join a globally recognised manufacturing organisation and play a key role in shaping its future supply chain strategy.
This is a high-impact role where you'll have the opportunity to influence supplier partnerships, drive commercial value and deliver measurable improvements across cost, quality and operational performance.
Working within an established procurement function, you'll take ownership of key commodity areas, leading sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations and improvement initiatives while collaborating with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and influence commodity strategies that directly impact business performance.
Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers and key stakeholders.
Lead negotiations and deliver cost-saving opportunities.
Drive improvements across supplier quality, delivery and efficiency.
Work on exciting projects within a global manufacturing environment.
Experience
You'll be a commercially driven procurement professional with experience in purchasing, procurement or commodity management within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
You'll bring:
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Excellent supplier relationship management experience.
Commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
The ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities.
Confidence working cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams.
