Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager

Location: Kent
Salary: £65,00 - £70,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced Quality professional with a passion for driving continuous improvement? Our client, a leading engineering and manufacturing business, is seeking a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to lead quality strategy, improve operational performance, and embed a culture of Lean manufacturing across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping manufacturing excellence while working closely with senior leadership, engineering, production and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the company's Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, VSM, APQP, DMAIC, 8D, A3).
Manage internal quality audits, non-conformance and corrective actions.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) into manufacturing.
Identify waste reduction opportunities and improve production efficiency.
Monitor supplier quality and drive supply chain improvements.
Analyse performance data, report KPIs and present quality updates to senior management.
Champion operational change and industrialisation projects.About You

HNC/HND or Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years' manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a quality management role.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
Lead Auditor qualified with experience managing internal and supplier quality.
Proven experience implementing Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, project management and stakeholder management skills.
Six Sigma Black Belt and CQI membership would be advantageous.What's on Offer
