Warehouse/Stores Operative - Required Skills & Experience

Location: Reading

Rates: £13 - £14.57ph

Working hours: Early and Late Shifts Available (6am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday) and (2.30pm - 11pm Monday to Friday)

Duration: Long -term, could lead to permanent roles

Please see the required background below:

Previous job picking experience in a warehouse/stores environment
Goods-in experience, including checking, counting, and booking in incoming deliveries
Ability to accurately count and handle stock, including boxes and loose items
Physically capable of moving and handling boxes/pallets, as the role involves manual handling and picking tasks
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word
Good communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise with other departments when required (via email or face-to-face)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable, proactive, and able to manage tasks efficiently
Forklift truck (FLT) licence or experience (Reach Truck and Counterbalance). If no FLT experience, must be willing and open to training
