You will be joining a leading UK organisation who are seeking to appoint a finance business partner to join the Commercial Finance team. Operating within a complex, multi-service environment, the business delivers services to a diverse customer base and continues to invest in growth, operational excellence and financial performance.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Operational Finance, you will provide high-quality financial support to senior operational leadership teams, helping to drive performance, profitability and strategic decision-making across the business.
This is a highly commercial role combining management accounting, business partnering, financial planning and performance analysis. You will work closely with operational,
project and commercial stakeholders, providing meaningful insight, challenging assumptions and supporting business growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
Delivering accurate and insightful management reporting and financial analysis.
Supporting senior stakeholders with financial decision-making and performance management.
Building robust financial models to support contract bids, account development opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Producing monthly performance reporting, variance analysis and commentary.
Supporting project finances, tracking performance against objectives and analysing outcomes.
Working closely with operational and commercial teams to support business growth and profitability.
What you'll need to succeed
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Strong management accounting, forecasting and financial planning experience.
Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
Proven ability to influence, challenge and partner with senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial mindset with a focus on improving performance and delivering value.
