We are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistants to work in local Primary School's in the York area. We are open to both qualified and unqualified Teaching Assistants if you have the right experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary age range.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and help children achieve their full potential.
Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence, curiosity, and positive behaviour.
Assist with the preparation of classroom resources, educational activities, and displays.
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development, including those with additional learning needs.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.Requirements:
Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar educational setting.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the varying needs of young learners.
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable but not essential.
