Manual Turner

Trident Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Manual Turner to join a leading precision engineering company based in Rugby.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist with experience operating Colchester manual lathes, XYZ Proturn lathes, or a toolmaking background to secure a well-paid weekend or permanent night shift position.

The Role

* Operating Colchester manual lathes and XYZ Proturn lathes

* Manufacturing one-off and small batch precision components

* Working from detailed engineering drawings to tight tolerances

* Carrying out manual turning operations including facing, boring, threading and finishing

* Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet quality standards

* Working independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

The Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience as a Manual Turner

* Experience using Colchester manual lathes and/or XYZ Proturn lathes

* A Toolmaker with strong manual machining experience will also be considered

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude
