Immediate Start
£45k - £52k Annual
Full-Time
HGV Technician - Monday to Friday + Saturday Overtime (£45k Starting Salary)

If you're an experienced HGV Technician who takes pride in doing the job properly - not quickly, not cheaply, but correctly - this role will suit you down to the ground.

What This Role Is All About

You'll be joining a busy, well‑established workshop where standards actually matter. The kind of place where your skill, your judgement, and your experience make a real difference to uptime, safety, and customer trust. This isn't a "spanner‑monkey" job - it's a role for someone who knows their craft and wants to work somewhere that respects it.

You'll be working Monday to Friday, with Saturdays available as overtime for those who want the extra earnings.

Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

HGV servicing & maintenance - carrying out routine inspections, scheduled servicing, and preventative maintenance.

Diagnostics & fault‑finding - using modern diagnostic equipment to identify issues quickly and accurately.

Repairs & component replacement - brakes, suspension, electrical, hydraulics, emissions systems - whatever needs attention.

Safety & compliance checks - ensuring every vehicle meets legal and operational standards before it leaves the workshop.

Clear communication - updating job cards, reporting findings, and keeping the workflow organised.

Team contribution - working alongside experienced technicians who value professionalism and pride in the job.

What You Need to Bring

Solid experience as an HGV Technician - you know your way around modern trucks and diagnostic systems.

A professional, reliable approach - someone who takes ownership of their work.

Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.

Ability to work independently and as part of a tight workshop team.

A mindset focused on safety, accuracy, and long‑term reliability.

Why This Role Stands Out

You're not just fixing trucks - you're keeping a fleet moving. You're trusted, respected, and paid properly for your skill. With a £45k starting salary, Monday-Friday stability, and optional Saturday overtime, this is a role built for a technician who wants consistency, progression, and a workshop that values quality over shortcuts.
