About the Company
I'm currently working with a well established and respected Fire & Security specialist that has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality engineering solutions across London and the surrounding areas.
Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of commercial contracts, they are now looking to bring an experienced Fire & Security Engineer into their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable role with a strong pipeline of work, competitive package and the chance to work on a varied range of systems across commercial environments.
The Role
This is a varied field based role covering service, maintenance, fault finding and installation across a range of commercial sites.
You will be responsible for ensuring fire and security systems are maintained to a high standard, carrying out reactive works, planned maintenance and installation projects.
Responsibilities
Service, maintain and install fire alarm and security systems.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding.
Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions.
Complete small works, upgrades and system modifications.
Install and commission equipment where required.
Work across fire alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
Provide professional customer service while representing the company on site.
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
Experience servicing and installing systems such as Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms.
Experience with manufacturers such as Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Notifier, Gent, Texecom, Galaxy, Paxton, Hikvision or similar would be beneficial.
Strong fault finding and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Package
£45,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary depending on experience.
