We are looking for a Senior Programme Manager to lead complex engineering projects from bid stage through to delivery. You will manage customer-funded development programmes, coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee budgets and schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage engineering projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

Act as the main point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.

Coordinate engineering, operations, procurement, quality, and commercial teams.

Monitor project performance, financial forecasts, and programme progress.

Support bid preparation and project governance.

Manage subcontractors and ensure contractual obligations are met.

Requirements

Degree, HND, or equivalent experience in Project Management or Engineering.

Around five years of experience managing engineering or technical projects.

Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion.

APM qualification is desirable.

Experience within defence, maritime, aerospace, or other highly regulated engineering environments would be advantageous
