Location: Battersea, South West London
Pay: £100–£130 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

Are you organised, practical and passionate about science? We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a welcoming secondary school in Battersea.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous laboratory, science technician or school experience, or for a science graduate looking to gain valuable experience within education.
The Role
As a Science Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the Science Department by ensuring practical lessons run safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons.
Maintaining laboratories and ensuring they are clean, organised and fully stocked.
Supporting teachers during practical experiments where required.
Managing stock levels, ordering equipment and safely storing chemicals.
Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed, including COSHH regulations.
Maintaining laboratory equipment and resources.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Science Technician or working in a laboratory is desirable.
A science-related qualification or degree is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Strong understanding of health and safety within a laboratory environment.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
