About the Role

Our Client is seeking an experienced Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to lead quality excellence and operational improvement across a growing manufacturing business. This is a strategic role that will play a key part in driving quality standards, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Operations & Quality, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust Quality Management System, championing LEAN manufacturing principles, and ensuring the business continues to evolve towards operational excellence.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys leading change, influencing stakeholders, and delivering measurable improvements across manufacturing, engineering, service, and supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and develop the company's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

* Define and implement quality policies, procedures, and controls across the business.

* Conduct internal audits and lead management reviews.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.

* Support the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing operations.

* Investigate and manage non-conformances, implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.

* Monitor manufacturing performance and develop reporting systems that drive operational improvements.

* Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the supply chain.

* Collaborate with department leaders to deliver business-wide operational enhancements.

* Provide quality and performance updates to senior management and leadership teams.

About You

* HNC, HND, or Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline.

* Minimum five years' experience within a manufacturing environment.

* At least three years' experience in a quality-focused leadership role.

* Lead Auditor trained with strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001.

* Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies including Lean, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and APQP.

* Strong understanding of problem-solving tools such as 8D, DMAIC, and A3.

* Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.

* Six Sigma Black Belt and Chartered Quality Institute membership would be advantageous.
